Servicing over 600 outlets across the Philippines and Singapore, with other SE Asia locations to follow, we help restaurants and retailers maximize their profits by building up their business through a state-of-the-art restaurant platform, bridging together point-of-sale, purchasing, and data analytics. We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to play a critical role in further scaling and developing our restaurant platform which has already processed over 4.2 billion pesos in sales to date.
In this position, you will:
Do performance tuning and query optimization of existing applications and databases.
Design and implement robust, scalable and efficient database systems.
Design, monitor and maintain data replication between the primary and secondary databases.
Monitor server availability, scheduled jobs, clustering, replication and failover.
Perform Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tasks including dimensional data modeling, reporting, data migration and integration.
Lead database administration - database installation, configuration, maintenance, synchronization and performance tuning e.g. Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL (SQL profiler proficient).
Do you have the right ingredients?
Has experience in managing and maintaining data integrity/security, backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures.
Minimum requirements of at least 2 years' experience in administering databases such as MySQL, DBF, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB)
Has significant experience the past two years in a database administrator role in a previous experience, monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing database architectures and structure.
In-depth knowledge on using ODBC tools in a Windows environment
Must be a proactive and a strong team player
Adept at Able to work structured and independentlyqueries, report writing and presenting findings
